Join Elevate Dance Center in the fight against cancer by supporting Dancers Against Cancer (DAC)!
As a proud DAC Hope Studio, the EDC community has seen firsthand the impact DAC has made on the lives of their dance families. In 2021, beloved teacher Rebecca Cleaver-Beck was diagnosed with cancer, and DAC stepped in to provide a $10,000 donation to support her during her journey. Rebecca was later honored again at the 2025 Industry Dance Awards, where she received an additional $10,000 in support from DAC. Just two years later, 8-year-old Elevate dancer Everly was diagnosed with Leukemia, and once again DAC was there to donate $10,000 to help support this young dancer and her family through treatment. Everly is now one of our DAC Angels and we continue to dance in her memory.
Now, Elevate Dance Center is continuing their mission to give back and ensure no dancer fights alone. Together, the EDC family is fundraising to help Dancers Against Cancer continue providing financial support and hope to dance families battling cancer across the country. Every donation makes a difference and helps families like Rebecca and Everly to focus on healing instead of financial stress through the loving support of the dance community.
