DAC PRINCESS TIA UNSELL

Tia Unsell is 24 years old and lives in Crawfordville, FL. She currently attends Florida State University obtaining her Bachelor’s degree to become a Speech Language Pathologist. Tia began dancing at age 3 and began dancing competitively at 8 years old being trained in numerous styles of dance. Sharing her love of dance, she began teaching at 15 years old at the studio she grew up at, Studio 88 Dance Productions in Crawfordville, FL where she currently teaches recreational and competitive classes. Tia got involved with DAC after attending KAR National Dance Competition in 2016 and knew she wanted to help others in the dance community. Tia is a local titleholder in the Miss America Organization and currently holds the title of Miss Tallahassee and will go on to compete at Miss Florida in June 2023! Her goal as a DAC Princess is to spread the mission of DAC in the Big Bend area and throughout the state of Florida by talking to dance studios and local dancers.
