She competed last year in United World pageant taking home not only the Jr. Teen Nevada state title but the Jr. Teen United World international title. During her reign she did many community services events and appearances.
This title lead her to Super Bowl radio row where she was interviewed by sports philanthropy network. From there was invited to the industry dance awards, where she worked the DAC private event and got to witness and walk the red carpet at the industry dance awards gala.. Tayla has put together many personal events, raising money and donations to give to those in need. Tayla just completed her first event of the year called “Come hang” where she brought not only for sash sisters and pageant queens from other pageant systems but her dance friends and friends together to bring awareness to teens and mental health.
She also collected donations for Nevada’ Chet Buchanan toy drive and jackets for the homeless . Tayla continues to serve her community in various ways. She is competing this year in the United States of America pageant for teen Nevada USOA and hopes to go on and compete in nationals. She serves on the board teen committee for Hope means Nevada, where they bring awareness to teens and mental health in schools.
Tayla was also selected as one of the youngest to be on a teen talk radio on 88.1 the people‘s choice radio station in Las Vegas, where she learned how to produce run and host their own live radio show with other teens. Tayla, is a big advocate for DAC as her grandma is a cancer survivor and she feels that being a dancer in a community where everybody should have knowledge about dancers against cancer and what they continue to do for the community of not only dancers but family and friends.
