DAC PRINCESS TAYLA WESTERMAN

Hello, I am Tayla. I’m 12 years old and have been dancing competitively since I was 4.

I am a fun-loving dancing and pageant girl that is I am also a signed talent that has done a few music views, voice-overs, and modeling events.

I have been doing pageants since I was 5 years old. I have won many wonderful titles. One of my favorite titles that I had the pleasure of winning and serving was Miss Nevada Elementary, where I not only placed top 11 in the nation but won community service, academic, and best first impression awards. What I loved about the Miss Elementary American Pageant system is they focused on Anti-bullying in schools. I was honored to have received the presidential and Governor's Award for my outstanding community service.

The platform that I am building is called “Talks with Tayla”. I have begun working on my very own podcast. Where I will discuss, and interview individuals to discuss certain topics like Mental Health. Bullying. how being physically active not only helps you physically but also mentally.

I am really excited to be part of the DAC Princess Program because I not only love to dance but I have cancer in my family, but also have a few friends that are fighting cancer as well and I want to use my dancing abilities to promote a great cause and make sure that not only those fighting cancer, but their families get the help they need.

I plan on promoting DAC in as many ways as possible like through my platform, fundraising, dance events, and more.
