DAC PRINCESS REESE PIDGEON

Reese Pidgeon is 13 years old from San Diego, California. She started dancing at 2 years old and just fell in love.  At 3, she began training at The Element Dance Center and competed her first solo ever. She continues to compete and train in Tap, Jazz, lyrical, Ballet, and Contemporary. She also loves theater and performed with The California Ballet Company in the Nutcracker, for five years at the San Diego Civic Theatre.  Some of Reese accomplishments are KAR Ms. Petite Dance America and most recently the National Solo Teen Champion in Pigeon Forge, TN in 2022 as well as a KAR Protégé performer for 2022/23. Reese is also part of the American Tap Company and competed in Germany in 2019 at the IDO World Tap Dance Championships, bringing home Silver & Bronze medals representing the USA. She also enjoys pageants and was crowned International Cameo Girl in 2020 and is the current California Cinderella State Miss. Reese has been very supportive of DAC starting at the age of 7 and did a TEDx talk which can be seen on YouTube. This has taught her that you are never too young to make a difference. She is also involved with a philanthropic organization for young girls dedicated to volunteering their time and resources to various San Diego County charities and her organization, San Diego Cares. Reese is so grateful and excited to be a DAC princess and continue her journey of raising money and awareness for DAC. Outside of dance, Reese loves to hang out with friends, surf, go to the beach and movies. Her goal is to attend Ohio State University and dance her way through medical school and become a pediatrician.
