DAC PRINCESS RAELYN MAUPIN

Hi, my name is Raelyn Maupin. I am 9 years old and I am in the 4th grade. I started dancing and participating in the Cinderella Pageant system both at the age of 5. 

Cinderella Pageants and dance have definitely helped to mold me to who I am today. Cinderella has taught me important life skills such as public speaking. In 2021 I was crowned the TN State Cinderella Ambassador. Dance let’s me express myself without words. I am currently on the competition team at my studio, which helps to push me each time on stage to grow. 

Unfortunately, I have had and currently have loved ones in my life fighting for cancer. My studio owner is a cancer survivor herself. My grandmother passed from cancer and a close family friend is in a current battle. 

My goal with DAC is to use the outlets I have through pageants and dance to bring awareness and hope to those who are affected by cancer.
