DAC PRINCESS MARLAINA LIGHTKEEPER

Marlaina is the current National American Miss Iowa Pre-Teen. She has been a dancer since the age of 3 and competing since the age of 6. She loves all styles of dance, especially ballet, and has won many titles and has been featured in stage productions. Marlaina is vocal in the fight against cancer and plans to become a Pediatric Oncologist. Her work with DAC combines her two greatest passions: dance and supporting families affected by cancer. 

Marlaina is also an avid volunteer and believes in showing pride in your community through service. She is the founder of a non-profit organization, Little Acorns, which recruits and inspires other kids in her community to participate in volunteerism and service projects. 
Marlaina is so excited to partner with Dancers Against Cancer and use her platform to positively impact the lives of those affected by cancer.
