Maria Moreno began dancing at just five years old. Naturally shy and introverted, she found her voice through dance, which helped her grow in confidence and learn how to speak up for herself. Through years of dedication and hard work, Maria earned numerous achievements, including regional and national titles, as well as various tuition scholarships. Her commitment and passion for the art of dance led to the incredible opportunity to be invited to represent the Abby Lee Dance Company, a milestone that reflects both her talent and perseverance.

It is a great honor for Maria to be part of the prestigious ALDC legacy, but even more meaningful is getting to know Abby Lee Miller herself. Despite battling Burkitt lymphoma leaving her paraplegic Miss Abby continues to show remarkable strength and resilience. She remains a driving force in the dance industry!

Inspired by Abby’s courage and her involvement with Dancers Against Cancer, Maria hopes to contribute to the organization as well. She aspires to work hard and, one day, give back all the support she has received—and more—through dance and service to others.
