19 year old Lauren Arthurs is a life-long dancer from North Carolina, who is passionate about all things dance, advocacy, and community impact. With years of dedication to dance as a third generation dancer, Lauren uses dance and physical activity to inspire confidence and self expression in others. Lauren got her start in pageants through her local high school pageant, where she fell in love with pageantry because of the empowerment it gives to girls of all ages. When she won Miss South Point in 2023, she enjoyed using her platform to promote literacy through reading to many elementary school classrooms throughout her reign. Her love for pageantry brought her to Cinderella, where she became the North Carolina Cinderella Teen 2024-2025. The relationships and interaction with girls of all ages brings immense joy to Lauren, and she enjoys actively competing in the Cinderella circuit. Most recently, she was awarded the NC/TN AAMTC Model of the Year 2025, and a top 10 placement at the International Cinderella Scholarship Pageant in the Woman division.
Through her DAC campaign, Lauren hopes to spread hope and awareness all over the dance world and pageants. Her grandmother passed away from Lung Cancer when she was a young girl, and ever since Lauren has been a passionate advocate for living a healthy lifestyle and cancer awareness. While in late elementary school, Lauren watched her dance teacher, Ms. Heather, bravely battle breast cancer. Watching Ms. Heather's journey inspired Lauren to use her voice and be an advocate for dancers (and dance teachers, support systems, etc) who are battling this disease. With DAC, Lauren plans to use her kindness to spread positivity and inspire confidence in all those who she interacts with, while raising awareness and funds to support DAC initiatives.
