Tap Into Hope — and the last $5,148.
This October our studio went pink. Two tap classes — one for our young dancers, one for the adults in our community — filled the floor for an afternoon we called Tap Into Hope. Mrs. Nicole gave us the heart of it: she shared her story, she shared her artistry, and she donated her time so that every tap on that floor meant something. Those two classes raised $845.
That brought us to $14,852 raised for Dancers Against Cancer this year — and made Ascendance Studio Company a Platinum Hope Studio.
We are $5,148 from becoming a Diamond Hope Studio.
This page is that last stretch. Every dollar given here goes straight to DAC:
We do this because trophies aren't the whole point. In a dance scene as competitive as South Florida's, we want our dancers to know their training is worth something off the stage too — that a time step can pay somebody's prescription. Many of our families have been touched by cancer through someone they love. This is how we stand next to them.
Help us reach Diamond before December 31.
